The Belle and Brothers accounting engine accesses one thing: the
QuickBooks Online accounting data of Belle and Brothers' own
company file, through Intuit's official API, under the
com.intuit.quickbooks.accounting scope, with OAuth authorization
granted by the company's own administrator.
Only our own. The application has no third-party users, no customer accounts, and no ability to access anyone else's QuickBooks data. This website collects nothing from visitors — no analytics, no cookies, no forms.
Accounting records retrieved by the application are stored on company-owned hardware and in the company's private records repository. OAuth tokens are stored in the operating system keychain on company hardware. Nothing is sold or made available to any other business or individual.
The application itself contains no artificial intelligence: it is deterministic software, and no model sits in the code path that reads from or writes to QuickBooks. Separately, the company owner uses a general-purpose AI assistant (Anthropic's Claude) on company hardware to help draft and review bookkeeping entries before they are posted. When the owner does so, QuickBooks-derived information belonging to this company — such as account names, balances, and transaction descriptions — may be processed by that provider's API under its own terms.
This is our own company's data, processed at our direction, for our own bookkeeping. It is not shared with any other party, and it is not used to train any model. No entry reaches QuickBooks without a person reviewing the exact debits and credits and approving them; the software has no unattended or automated posting path.
Access can be revoked at any time by the QuickBooks administrator via Intuit account settings (Apps → disconnect), which invalidates the application's tokens.
